Disappointed

This tray looks great when you fill it-just like the picture. At my gathering, everyone was amazed. After filling the balsamic vinegar crevices, you have to slowly pour the oil until it covers the surface. It simply doesn't work. When you dip the bread, you get a lot of olive oil, but you can't get any of the vinegar as it is embedded into the carved area. The carved area is so narrow that you can't dip down into it. It might work better if you tear very soft bread for the tray, but I sliced a baguette and at the end if the party, I had 3/4 of the tray filled with dried out, hard slices of baguette. People tried to use it, sigh. SO, 5 stars for display, 0 stars for functionality = 3 stars.
