I cannot recommend these highly enough. I've bought five of them in the last six months -- on sale, of course. I particularly like the red as it's not bold but good as an accent color. Goes with any decor. I'm not sure how sturdy the tray would be if you actually used it to serve heavy items. A couple of plates; a few glasses, and impromptu cheese board. It'd work.
