Bring Back the Mesh

The liner seems like a nice idea until it isn't. The liner of all the new trunks stay wet much longer than the actual trunks which in turn can cause horrible chaffing if you plan on walking or playing games on the beach.

These are amazing shorts! This is my first ever pair of Chubbies, and they are definitely living up to the hype. I loved the look of the solid black, and the texture just makes it look even better. They go with everything just about, so they could easily be worn more casually when not in the water. I will be back for more soon!

Loved my chubbies

I bought these Chubbies swim trunks thinking, “nice, probably decent. ” Plot twist: I now walk like I’m in a slow-motion beach commercial. As a 30-year-old man with a… let’s say distinctively shaped Latino build, finding the right fit is usually a gamble. These nailed it. Snug where it matters, relaxed where it counts—like they understood the assignment without asking questions. I can dive, sprint, or just lounge without awkward adjustments every five seconds. Bonus: they somehow make me look more put together than I actually am. If confidence came in fabric form, this would be it. Highly recommend.

I'm able to pair them up with a T-shirt or button up and they look freaking good, they feel great on and they are super comfortable . . . I can't wait to hit the creek/beach in these.

Best trunks ever!

The most comfortable set of trunks I have ever had! I love the style and comfort! Texture is top notch! The only negative is they take a while to dry, but I can live with that because everything else about them is superb!
