It’s nice but not for me

Not my favorite scent; the grapefruit and wood notes definitely come through but it’s too much of a musky style for my preference. The drydown is nicer but still leaves a bit to be desired. It’s definitely a summer cologne, just not for me.

Great fragrance line starter

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. Despite smelling over 500 fragrances and owning several paco rabannes and even owning other Invictus fragrances I hadn’t smell the original until receiving this sample. I didn’t have many expectations because it was “just” the original Invictus edt but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it smells, I now know why an entire fragrance line spawned from this. To me it smells extremely fresh and sweet. The freshness comes from the sea notes and the citruses that balance each other out very well, I’m not typically a fan of heavy aquatic scents and this one doesnt come across that way because of the grapefruit that is in here. I can definitely see many fragrances that were inspired by this one and I’m glad to have tried it.

Hard to describe

Safe Freshie. It’s not particularly memorable or distinct. It’s not too sweet which is a plus for a mid level designer but wearable anytime of day or night. Longevity is decent but sillage is weak due to its lack of a distinct smell.

This fragrance is mild, but enough to last throughout the entire day. A strong marine smell and grapefruit, with a hint of woodsy bayleaf. A great scent for every day use.

A little goes a long way

This scent is STRONG , and it lasts for days! Great scent for a long night out when you need to make sure the scent doesn’t fade. Top notes of bourbon and vanilla, with underlying woodsy scents. Very masculine and distinct. I don’t think it’s an every day scent, but it could become a signature scent for nights out.

Light summer scent

I really like this Invictus Eau de Toilette, it is light enough to be a summer scent which isn't overbearing in the Missouri heat and humidity. I really like the bottle and style, very simple and clean.
