Good quality bag

Good quality. Made of strong material. I’ve stored my bag under the seat in front of me in tight spaces and it does not seem to scratch.

Design Flaw

Huge TUMI fan, have a ton of their bags. This laptop bag is a fail. Claims to be a laptop bag BUT they don't have a suspended laptop compartment. They used to put that in all their backpacks and for some reason didn't in this one. If you have carried many laptops in backpacks this is a huge risk as you don't always set the bag down as soft as you want and all that force hits the laptop, padding of a 1/2 inch doesn't blunt much force. I have owned 20 laptops over the years and probably 10 backpacks, this is a really bad design.

Worth the money

I absolutely love the backpack, both of my sons have the same model, and I highly recommend it. I traveled all over Africa with it, and it was extremely practical and durable.

Nice Upgrade

The Alpha 3 Brief was my EDC. The refresh model has been a very nice upgrade. I understand the purpose of the zipper magnetic keeper on the main compartment is to keep the zipper pulls neat and in place, but I don’t understand why the other 7 zippers don’t have that same feature.

I like it, but………

It’s a functional item BUT the name tag needs to be strengthened. After two weeks the name tag holder has disintegrated and fell off the bag. Wasn’t expecting that at this price point Tumi.

Build a modern backpack please.

"Bring your desk with you" but no charger pass through. Creating a modern backpack without this is ridiculous.
