I found this bag perfect for my needs as a traveling business person who is a minimalist in terms of packing. In addition to a well laid out bag with very usable features it displays a classy strong simple presentation that is perfect for wanting high quality, with subtle classiness and it being a smart investment. If you are the type of person who tends to take too many things, you will not like this bag. If you pack for minimal but classy needs and just like the peace that accompanies having made a smart and wise choice, this is the carry-on for any frequent business traveler. Remember, it's about efficiency and traveling in style, but with nothing more than you need!

Not worth the money
Very stylish and good looking. But not very durable for the price point. As an airline professional of 27 years I was very disappointed in this bag, especially for the price. The telescoping handle feels very cheap as do the wheels over a variety of typical surfaces. The bag is also so small that after I put a pair of workout shoes in it, there was barely room for anything else. This is an overnight bag at best for someone who does not travel often.

Best travel piece. Very sturdy, handles and wheels are the best in the business.

Huge Letdown — Couldn’t Survive a Single Gate Check
I was so excited to finally upgrade my Away carry-on to a Tumi. I’ve been slowly replacing all my travel gear with Tumi because it looks incredibly sharp and is perfect for business travel. I started by upgrading my backpack, then got the weekender bag and the dopp kit, and finally decided to pull the trigger on this carry-on. On my very first time using it, the flight was full and I was forced to gate-check it. As soon as I pulled the bag off the baggage carousel at my destination, my excitement vanished and I immediately regretted the purchase. The bag looks absolutely terrible. The ballistic nylon is scratched up and every single plastic bumper is heavily scuffed. I know airline baggage handlers aren't gentle, and sure, I can blame the airline to an extent. But for how outrageously expensive this bag is, I cannot believe how poorly it handled a single trip in the cargo hold. If this bag can’t even survive its maiden voyage without looking like it was dragged behind the plane, I can’t even imagine what it’s going to look like in a year or two of regular travel. Extremely disappointed. Honestly, I wish I had just kept my Away.

A great carry-on: durable and steady, although a little bit on the heavy side.
