Nice hub, but the lack of outputs is not great in this modern age. you can get hubs with much better options for cheaper.

Just what I needed

Serves the exact purpose I need, worked beautifully out of the box! The compact size is great, makes it easy to slip into my backpack compartments, and doesn’t take up a lot of space to plug in and use. I use thumb drives a lot with my work, and like to transfer photos from my SDs, this has worked out great for all my needs so far.

Use USB-C, lose USB-C?

I bought this hub to supplement the ports on my P16v. I was accustomed to three USB-A and one USB-C on my older laptop, and the P16v has two USB-C and one USB-A. But I have multiple USB-A devices - charging phones and other items, mouse and presentation devices, etc. I hoped the Lenovo USB-C 7-in-1 Hub would give me more USB-A without losing a USB-C... but the USB-C port seems to only be for using a USB-C power block for the computer; I tried to use it for USB-C devices with no luck ("USB-C Power Pass Through". Nonetheless, I like the fact that with the Hub, I can plug my external monitor and cabled USB-A devices to it, leaving the sides of my laptop unobscured.

This is a great hub for USB, HDMI extension/add-on and to read the many SD and Micro SD cards I have.
