Nice bed, but thought was taller.

The instructions to assemble were simple and clear. All parts were marked so that added to ease of assembly. Took about 1.5 hours to read & put together. The headboard was shorter than pictured and expected. The pillows in photo are shorter and smaller giving the illusion that headboard is taller. When I leaned standard size pillows on it, they covered most of the headboard, 3/4. Under bed clearance is low but enough to store shoe boxes underneath. Overall it’s nice looking and an ivory off white color. It appears the bed will handle the weight of a teen without issue.
