An Exceptional Model
I love building this set! I had built the odd vehicle before in the modulars and the early ECTO-1 and I forgot how good they are to build. This set reignited that in me. I love how a vehicle build morphs from a tecnic chassis into a detailed model. This was a classic example and it is arguably the most iconic car in history, the birth of mass production of automobiles. The build experience let's you appreciate this iconic car. Seeing it go from a bundle of parts to a wonderful model of the Model T just makes you think about the hard work of the manufacturers of those first cars. I also think it is fun this set has an illegal build. That said, I enjoyed the challenge of the build. I think some of my mistakes was partially how the instructions showed things, but I actually like having to figure it out a bit as the build evolves. But, if LEGO wants to improve the use experience, would suggest looking at the highlighting used for each step. Depending on the set and the colours in the set, would suggest they are more open to different colours - also should consider colour-blindness. If you are into cars, would highly recommend this set! Great Set
This is an awesome set. The details are true to the Model T's original design. I would highly recommend this set to collectors. My biggest disappointment with the set is the packaging. I do not understand why LEGO got away from the taped-end boxes. The boxes with the glued ends are a complete nightmare. Please stop making these boxes. There is no way of opening them without damaging the box.

Perfect to a T
I have put together many of the larger and more expensive sets, but this one, for some reason, is very special. It’s a great show piece and looks very much like the original Ford Model T’s. Some new and interesting builds within as well.

A Road Trip to the Past.
This was such a great build! Tricky in spots so one has to pay attention to what one is doing. Taking your time is a must and making sure that each part is well attached is essential. Love all the working parts and also, the little historical comments in the instruction book. Really enjoyed putting this together and will be setting it up next to a picture of my father sitting in his Model T back in the 20's.

A new direction with my collection
I fell in love with the Model T the first time I saw it when released for sale. Debated with myself as it's totally different from my other Lego characters but lust won out. I recommend you buy it, take you in with the construction then display it with pride.

Good overall but a couple of small problems
Overall a fine build. Fun to put together, looks great on the shelf, and has features that make it fun to play with. I would have given it a perfect rating but for two small problems: 1) the fabric covertable roof looks good and functions well, but the build of the front bar nearest the windscreen makes it hard to create a smooth join between the roof and windscreen when the roof is up; and 2) my main gripe - the front wheels tilt out at the bottom. I don't know why Lego chose this consruction for the front wheels. While it provides a bit of play that mimics suspension, the front wheels of a Model T actually tilted outwards at the TOP, not the bottom. So while it's fine, it's strange that Lego chose a build that was not correct to the original.
