The App and numbered bags made this set very easy
I received this product for free from Influenster and LEGO in exchange for my honest review. I have found that my children usually find it difficult to stay engaged with LEGO sets for a long time, but this experience was very different. The LEGO Builder App helps build in a very clear step by step way that simplifies the entire process for them. Also, every part is divided into numbered bags which makes it much easier to find pieces that synchronize with the application stages. My nine year old daughter sat for hours working on this set. Although the packaging says it is for ages nine and up, my six year old son sat for half a day on this LEGO and was able to handle it completely by himself using the application without any help from me. It is definitely a significant upgrade over conventional LEGO instructions. I recommend this to my friends and family, and I will continue to buy these for my children in the future.

“Difficult to build but worth it!” -8yr old
My 8.5 year old nephew is obsessed with Legos, so I thought he’d love this kit… and I thought right! He said that it was the hardest Lego build he’s ever done, but that it was worth it when got done— and that he was proud of himself! As an aunt, I love to hear that! It took him about 5 hours to complete, and he spent the whole afternoon working on it. As a very active kid, this is rare for him to be so invested to sit still that long! His favorite part was that the ship sits on top of the dinosaur. He couldn’t think of any negatives, and he has asked when it’s available in stores. He’s told his teacher and friends to get this same kit! Kid approved!

Double the dinos, double the fun
This is my first ever Lego set and wow what a blast putting this together! The pieces all come conveniently packaged in numbered bags with a guide to tell you which bag makes which part of the final product. For this one, there are even a couple of different options. I didn't have any missing pieces. The brick separator is super helpful when you accidentally put something on wrong and will definitely help when taking it apart. This took me a few hours just to make one of the options. The illustrated guide makes it easy for all ages. I would definitely buy this in the future.

Hours of Fun
This was one of the thickest Lego instructional booklets I’ve seen. I like that this large project was broken up into smaller parts, so kids can focus in on one section at a time. The instructions were clear and my 8 and 11 year old were able to easily follow along.

Wonderful
LEGO rules the world of STEM toys. The amazing concept of involving dinos and warriors made it all the more interesting for my 6 year old. A great gift for an avid LEGO builder.

Love this Lego set!
I love this Lego set, it’s huge and has over 1000 pieces so not light weight. I gave this to my cousin and he absolutely loves it. The coolest thing is the big dinosaur and there’s the little characters and spiders which give this set a multi-dimensional feel. It’s high quality and the pieces stay together well.. just don’t step on any.

The awesome dinosaur that you never knew you neede
The Lego dreams dinosaur jet set is amazing. It’s technically recommended for around age 9, but our daughter is five so we turned it into a family project. Mom and dad sat down at the table with her and built it together and honestly, it was such a fun experience! It took two adults about 2 1/2 almost 3 hours to complete and now she’s happily playing with it nonstop. The attention to detail is incredible. There are so many thoughtful design elements and the little hockey puck shooters are a big hit. They really shoot really far and I love that the Lego included plenty of extras in case some go missing, which is inevitable with kids.! We only had one small piece, missing a tiny part that holds a rod in place but that was it. And considering this that came with a fair amount that really wasn’t a big deal. I genuinely think if a nine-year-old were to build this on their own. It could easily take them a couple days. It’s a complex well thought out build that really encourages patients and problem-solving. And I know there are some very smart nine-year-olds out there! We loved this set so much that we’re already starting to put together a nice display shift in her room for her Lego builds. And just because it’s a dinosaur doesn’t mean little girls won’t love it. Our little girl absolutely adores it. I don’t know who comes up with these ideas, but they’re doing an awesome job. Will definitely be buying more of these complicated sets to help her build them because she loves playing with them once they’re finished I highly recommend! Nice and has good durability!

Fun for the family!
Love this Lego set. I brought it to a friends house to build with her son. He loves dinosaurs and was SO excited. He was asking for days to build it. It was so much fun to do as a group activity (but can also be done solo) It has a lot of pieces so it’s something you want to do over several days or have a group work together to complete it faster. The pieces are small so you need a little patience to put together. I love that it comes with additional lego characters to play with, or rebuilt as a 2 in one. (Or you can use simply as a cool display) Definitely would get more Lego sets for the holidays as a group activity!
