Stopped working again

This is my 2nd machine and it is having similar issues as the first one. This first one stopped working and GE sent me a new one. I was hopeful and love the ice but now after a few months it has stopped making ice again. I have done all the troubleshooting steps and it is still broken. So frustrating especially considering the cost.

Works great!

I used to only use distilled water in my ge ice maker but with this I can now use tap water and do not notice a difference in taste or build up in the machine. I think this is a great product although I was a bit confused at first if I installed it correctly but it seems to be working!

Effective ice filter

The GE profile filter is bulky and a little hard to install, but does a decent job of reducing buildup in the machine. I don’t notice a taste difference but the water in that cycles in the area to be made into ice has a lot less debris floating around in it. All around a decent purchase for cleaner ice.
