Best wine cork screw i ever used
I’ve used a lot of corkscrews over the years, but the OXO Vertical Lever Corkscrew is easily one of the most reliable and user-friendly ones I’ve owned. The vertical lever design makes opening a bottle effortless—just place it on the bottle, pull the lever down, and lift it back up. The cork comes out smoothly every time with almost no effort. It feels sturdy and well-built, with a comfortable grip and solid construction that gives you confidence it will last. I also like that it works just as well on both natural and synthetic corks. If you want a wine opener that’s simple, efficient, and consistently dependable, this one is an excellent choice.

Limited lifetime warranty replacement.
This a warranty replacement of a corkscrew that no longer worked properly. OXO has very well designed, quality products and they definitely stand behind them. I have always favored OXO over other brands and their commitment to customer satisfaction has made me very glad that I've bought their products in the past and will continue to do so.

Easy peasy corkscrew.
This is well designed and well made. Getting the foil off with the built-in foil cutter is easy and convenient. Opening the bottle is quick and requires minimal effort. The lever action corkscrew penetrates the cork quickly and lifting the lever pulls the cork completely out (unless it’s a very long cork where you will have to wiggle the end of the cork out. ) Repeating the action ejects the cork. The coating on the screw eventually wears off and you have to replace it with the included replacement screw. Very well designed and very well made. Works better than other lever corkscrews.

Fun to use
I used to have a stand type opener, but it broke. I was getting tired of using the old fashioned manual cork remover so I thought I’d see what the internet had to offer. I came across this lever one by OXO. I love almost every OXO product I have purchased, so I was pretty confident this would be worth trying as well. I was not disappointed! It has a built in foil cutter, which I greatly appreciate, removes the cork with ease, and pops the cork out for disposal. Add that it takes up a very small footprint ( it stand up by itself) and it is perfect for my needs. And fun 😃
