Big Disappointment with Macy’s Quality Reputation
The gammon 6 Drawer Dresser was left on my doorstep in wet weather without any plastic protection . The oversized cardboard box was already weakened when I came home and tried to lift it into my front door . If I lived on a second floor situation it would have never made it before it fell apart . The contents were not affected but the number of parts and the quality of those parts made me regret my purchase . The original price for this piece of inferior quality dresser could not be accurate . Macys could not have seen this product in its unassembled , let alone finished , state . It has to be a Covid left over as do much of goods on the market are today . Macy’s should explore this manufacturer before putting this piece of inferior junk furniture out under its name . I’m disappointed in Macy’s for selling such a misrepresented piece of junk as a quality dresser . It makes me not want to shop their online home merchandise. I am going to contact customer service for refund directions … if that is even possible . How to I get all of this back in a box !!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! I’d give it zero stars if possible !
