Great base for lipstick with all day protection

I went on to Macy's Beauty/Lip section looking for a specific base for lipstick that also had SPF but wasn't oily or sticky. This is it! It smooths my lips and forms a soft texture that my lip liner and lipstick are both compatible with. Hard to find, believe me, and my lip color stays on all day. An unexpected but wonderful benefit. Two days later, I bought another one to keep at work.

Lightweight Hydration

I have been using the lip therapy for over two years now. I tried the original formula without SPF and today I had the pleasure to try their newest lippie with SPF 30. The sleek, unisex tube has a luxurious weight to it that i can appreciate when digging in my purse. I was not sure what to expect at first with the cold plasma, but after a deep dive I learned that this new technology is being used in beauty products for its weightless hydration. It does not feel greasy or sticky on the lips. It is very nice and this is coming from a person who has sensory issues with chapsticks on their lip. Immediately it plumps the skin and hydrated my cracked lips overnight. There is a sweet vanilla scent, despite it being labeled as fragrance free. It’s probably coming from the natural oils in the coconut jojoba, shea and added vanilla. So, no synthetic perfumes but there are oils. I like that the chrome tube screws on to lock the lid.

Tastes terrible.

It tastes terrible. I would not order it again. The non-SPF is good.

Glad there is sunscreen now

Love the regular lip therapy and I love this new one also. Goes on easy and smooth. Lasts a long while too.

Waxy and meh

I like how luxurious it feels and looks. And I really like that it has built in sunscreen. But this this the extent of what I like about it. I am not a huge fan of the ingredients and how waxy it feels. I didn't care for it at all

Disappointed in texture

I was so excited to try this as I tried my friend’s lip therapy and loved it but this does not go on smoothly like the non SPF version. It leaves a thicker course feel and is unfortunately not what I was looking for.

Chap stick

I bought this product and although it advertised it would help erase or smooth lip line “ feathering” or straw lips… it did nothing regarding the lines around my lips. It feels like a nice chap stick at best! I’ve used this product for months with no visible results regarding feathering or lines! Very disappointed
