Expected better from Dyson!
I bought this a month ago. Honestly, I’ve used better floor-washing vacuums, but I trusted the design and the Dyson brand. I own several of their products and they’ve never let me down. This one is different. The red button on the base doesn’t close properly. I had to spend time forcing it to click just so I could start using it, which is frustrating and shouldn’t happen with a product at this price point. Overall, this is a real usability issue.

The best
Absolutely love how innovative this device is. Not only is it clean and easy to use, but it works. I love that it self cleans and the technology makes it easier for you to clean. It gets in hard to reach places and the handle allows you to get under objects. The design is sleek and does not take much room. Perfect for an apartment. Gifted by Dyson

User-friendly and ergonomic
This pencilwash worked great on my luxury vinyl floors and I’ll definitely be keeping it for our hardwood ones in the future. On first use, I was impressed to see that the roller did indeed stay clean throughout, thanks to the self-cleaning mechanism. And the dirty tank filled up with greyish brown water which was satisfying! There’s some disassembly required afterwards, if you want to air out the parts. But overall pretty user-friendly. Complimentary from Dyson but all opinions are my own

Lightweight and super easy to use!
The new Dyson PencilWash™ wet floor cleaner is a game changer for anyone with hardwood floors! It is lightweight, easy to use and effective! As someone who loves In a condo and has limited space, I love how small this is and it doesn’t take up much space on my closet. It’s really easy to use too! Simply fill the tank with water, turn on and go. I love how it vacuums and washes at the same time. It saves me so much time and makes cleaning up quick and easy. Amazing!
I was gifted by Dyson to try their product, but all opinions are my own. Dyson genuinely makes cleaning the house easier, lighter, and easier to store. This wet floor cleaner is the perfect size for apartment living. It's easy to stash in a corner with the charging pad, and it stands up easily in a corner (mine is being stored in a corner next to a cube storage unit). It's also super light, which is amazing since I often struggle with wrist pain. It's so easy to set up right out of the box, and you continuously get clean water as the roller rolls around. It cleans up my messes really easily! I have a lot of plants, I'm clumsy, and I'm always dripping literal dirt water everywhere. This tool helps me clean and keep my apartment looking fresh.

I have super old hardwood floors (that are in major need of a good polish) and it managed to get in every nook and cranny still! I was so surprised at the efficacy and I cannot wait to clean my entire house now!

Guided Mop for a Superior Clean
I bought the pencil wash on the day it was released in the U.S. The pencil wash did a remarkable job cleaning my floors while I simply directed the path using the handle with ease. I have never removed so much dirty waste water as with the pencil wash. I put the handle in the charger after I was finished. Cleaning the head is simple with removal of the cleaning solution container for refill and simple slide on reattachment. l bought the pro-biotic solution to add with clean water for the next time to be used. The pencil wash is a durable precision engineered product that gives the best clean to rave about.
