The skirt is too heavy looking due to the fabric vs being light and flowy. It’s also a bit too long

I ordered the black skirt and the white skirt. The size runs larger than anticipated. I ordered the 2x (not in plus size) thinking it may be ok. I am going to try to exchange them for a smaller size IF the price is the same as the original price I paid. They must have been on sale when I bought them b/c the price is higher now. If I cannot get an even exchange, I will prob keep them and try shrinking them in the dryer. Another thing to note, the skirts are heavier than I anticipated. I thought it would be very lightweight. There is more material than I thought there would be (not that it's a bad thing). Just not as lightweight as pictured. Also, the drawstring is just decoration. You cannot tighten.
