Lovely looking, a little dainty, but sturdy enough

A little over a week ago, I received two packages containing the four-piece patio furniture set. Possibly it was just one package with everything in it, and the hardware and screws, et cetera, to assemble the items.To be honest, I was a little surprised at how dainty the furniture set turned out to be. Not exactly weak or soft, but less sturdy. Well, that's not exactly right either. It seems plenty sturdy, but it's just smaller in size than I had prepared for. It did take some effort and skill to assemble the pieces, but when it's together, it's quite lovely, and it is very suitable for the environment that it is now placed in.I am always skeptical, or at least wary.of purchasing any kind of furniture or objects of that size through the website alone. I like to see the products in person. I must admit, I wasn't able to visit any store locations that had this product. When I visited the big box stores, the competing products were not exactly what I expected, or what I wanted.At the end of the day, I am satisfied with my purchase, yet will be cautious in the future from purchasing any furniture or larger items physically without inspecting them first. And that's really how I've always operated, so this was a little bit of a stretch.I have been a Macy's customer for many, many, many years, and I do appreciate their wide range of offerings, especially through the online store. However, I seriously enjoy visiting my Macy's store in Easton shopping area of Columbus, Ohio, which is so well-run and so well organized.
