Great conference room table but don’t follow the instructions!

Overall this is a very substantial table and looks high end for a flat pack non-solid piece but its construction could be improved. Firstly, there are no pilot holes so be prepared for some work if you’re going to use a manual screwdriver - it took us 1.5 hr for two people to assemble. One of my top pieces also came a bit warped and with the corner a little chewed up. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, but I would not recommend following the step order they give you - look through all the steps and strategize. I would secure the table legs FIRST, then secure all the stretcher and brace pieces LAST. The bolts to secure the legs to the table were not well-aligned with the holes on the leg pieces and took some brute force to get to work, which would have been impossible if the braces were already secured as the instructions had directed. Now that it’s together, this is a great functional conference room piece with built-in cable management to keep everything looking tidy and professional! The grain of the veneer looks very natural and looks like a rich chocolatey mocha stained oak and the table looks very expensive.
