Runs small, belt isn’t functional

I am a medium in most every thing….i chose a medium in this dress and it’s too snug. It’s a small medium … so go larger and hope for the best if you wear M. There is no elastic on the back so no give… buttons pop open. I’m small busted so that was not a factor here. The belt is also not made well… you will not be able to wear it as u the picture. The belt material is really thin like the dress and the buckle is heavy…. The o my way would be to tie it but that changes the look. I’m returning and nit going for the large. It is cute though.
