Great Thermostat

This was hard to install as we have a newer furnace and air conditioner. But after our heating man installed (in a mere matter of minutes) I love it. The ability to change the temperature away from the actual unit, whether in another room or away makes it perfect. I love the ability to turn on the air or heat before I get home. Totally worth getting.

Nasty Best

Impossible to connect and instructions- poor installation by contractor. Still not connected to my WiFi. Garbage!

It's great...when it doesn't disconnect from the wifi

A few times it disconnects from Wi-Fi for no apparent reason and following the troubleshooting info takes you down a rabbit hole.

It's great except....

My nest thermostat gives me an error message at least once per week. I have to physically reset the thermostat to get it to connect to my app again. It's not great for controlling my thermostat while away from the house.

Easy to install and use

I had purchased a thermostat before the nest. I was going to have to pull a C wire. I found the Nest and took the other thermostat back. The Nest needed no modification to my system. It was easy to install. The programming is fairly easy. I’m still learning and tweaking in order to get the most efficiency from my system. I love how it communicates with my google home devices. It also has a cool modern look.

I can't get to work so I can say if it's good or not. But seeing I can't get it working... and don't count on support.. it seem more bad than good....especially if I have to call a pro
