Our current microwave stopped working so we bought the lg one for which this is the trim for 30 inches wide to match with the width of the traditional oven .. it looks good and mathes the theme of the rest of the appliances.

no installation intructions
no installation instructions!! no way to plan cabinets for the built in end of things. Please provide a PDF with actual instructions on it not just a tiny blur about the cut out dimensions. Where is the microwave plugged into? does it have any requirements for air flow? these are important things to know.

Great looking trim kit
Bought the LG trim kit (and microwave) a month ago. Was nervous because we dont own any LG appliances. Happy to report that not only have we not had any problems but it was very easy to install the trim. Looks good and wife is happy. Very happy. Win win!

I chatted online with an LG Rep to ensure that I was buying the correct kit for the microwave we'd just purchased. I gave them the dimensions of our new custom microwave cabinet. The upper and lower bracket fit just inside of the width of the opening and aren't big enough to attach to the cabinet. I'm in the process of trying to build a block from behind and inside the cabinet walls so the bracket can attach to that but it's becoming a bigger project than I am skilled at. When I mock it up with the trim panel, it looks great, just not sure I'll be able to get it installed and secured properly. May have to return. Anyone else come accross this issue? Any suggestions.
