Disappointed

Received and put to use and found the ports aren’t good for charging which is ridiculous because that is what is needed- always. Only thing that comes to mind is this is and was poorly thought out when designed.

It works as promised, but not all that exciting

My Mac mini is a couple years old, so the color of the aluminum doesn’t match the color of the aluminum on the device. Works as promised.

Interferes with Bluetooth.

Poor design. Cradle blocks Bluetooth signal path coming from the bottom. My Bluetooth keyboard and mouse became choppy and unusable. Ended up putting the cradle on top of the Mac mini.

Stand and hub for Mac Mini

I’ve been using Mac Minis for years and have always been frustrated by dealing with peripheral ports in the back. Not only do I get front facing ports but as I am a photographer I was thrilled to I get back an sd card slot which was dropped from the Mini and all in a design that fits seamlessly. I couldn’t be happier with this.

SATECHI ! FRONT ACCESSIBLE PORT EXPANSION, cooling assistance, same mini M1 footprint!

SATECHI ! FRONT ACCESSIBLE PORT EXPANSION (one USB-C and three USB-A !) , cooling assistance powered from USB, same footprint as the mini! It is a risk trying to plug USB-x devices into the back of the mini M1, sometimes you need to turn and twist it to be able see what you are doing, but with the SATECHI Type-C Aluminum Stand & Hub for Mac Mini you don't risk crashing the mini when trying to plug in some USB tech, since it has USB ports on the front!I have to call the SATECHI Type-C Aluminum Stand & Hub for Mac Mini perfect!Exactly what I was looking for! I will recommend the SATECHI Type-C Aluminum Stand & Hub for Mac Mini M1 for anyone looking for USB expansion and front accessible ports!Picture was taken with a Logitech USB webcam plugged into the right most front USB-A port.There is a Logibolt dongle (for keyboard and mouse) plugged into the left most USB-A port.
