Daywear Matte

This gel Creme is just right for my skin that tends to be oily. It makes my skin feel soft and smooth. I didn't rate it a five because I would like it to have some sunscreen protection too.

Not for Me

This "Matte" day wear was horrible! Especially when applying foundation. The foundation was splotchy and uneven. I was close to horrified. I have been using Day Wear for several years and I thought that this "matte" would offer a smooth-no-shiny look. Not! I 'm definitely returning to my trusted former Day Wear the one that is not "matte".

Not matte

This is not an oily moisturizer, it doesn't feel sticky or greasy at all, however it is most certainly not matte and does nothing for pores. I had high hopes. If you're a female who will wear makeup over it, this might be right for your oily skin but those who want to wear it alone like me, this is not a matte finish and your pores will not be refined. My skin looks worse with it on.
