Not the same as my previous purchase

Lenox must have changed their manufacturer, because these are our wedding China, and we had 4 place settings when we got married. We decided to add 4 place settings for our anniversary. They are very different. The design was very raised and prominent in the original set, but now the design is now very minimal. It is very obviously different. And even the stamp on the back is completely different. If only I could add a picture so you could see how very different they are...

No quality control

I’ve ordered 6 items in this carved porcelain design (sugar bowl, creamer, platter, 2 sets of bowls, and a 4-pc place setting) from 3 different places and the result is always the same — cracks, black specks, dimpling, and bubbles. Either Lenox thinks this is perfectly acceptable, and has no qualms about selling substandard products at premium prices, or they seriously need to revamp their quality control. Save your money and go to the dollar store instead. I’m not joking. That’s how bad this experience has been. The Opal Innocence fine china line has been wonderful so far and very high quality, but after 6 returns in just a few weeks on this porcelain version, I give up.

Beautiful, elegant, and sturdy enough for everday

We bought these dishes in 2012 when my spouse and I got married. They are our everday use dishes. I've wanted to get the pasta bowls for 13 years and now that I've got them I could not be more happy with the purchase. These dishes are beautiful, elegant, and sturdy enough for everday wear & tear.
