Used this for over 30 years. Wish you still had the larger bottle. It is like my favorite lotion (grapefruit) that has now disappeared.

Forty years and still counting!!!
I’ve been using Kiehl’s Blue Astringent as an aftershave for four decades, and it’s one of those rare products that’s earned a permanent spot in my routine. It’s technically marketed as a toner, but it works beautifully as an aftershave — the alcohol and herbal blend closes pores, tightens the skin, and leaves a clean, invigorating feel without the harsh sting of traditional aftershaves. I have sensitive skin, and this is one of the few astringents that soothes rather than irritates. The scent is subtle and herbal, not cologne-like, so it doesn’t compete with anything else I wear. I just splash it straight into my palms after shaving and pat it on. My skin feels refreshed and calm, not stripped or dried out, even after all these years of daily use. What impresses me most is the consistency. The formula hasn’t changed, the results haven’t changed, and it still does exactly what I need it to do. Not every product survives 40 years in someone’s routine — this one has, and I don’t see that changing.

The ONLY Product That Truly Works for Me!
I absolutely love the Blue Herbal Astringent! This has always been the single best product for my breakouts, and nothing else has ever worked the same way for my skin. When I heard it was being discontinued, I spent months trying to find a replacement and never found anything that even came close. I was beyond excited to see it available again — I literally cried tears of joy when I realized I could purchase it once more! My skin has missed this product so much. Thank you for bringing back the one astringent that truly works for me. Please never discontinue it again!

Excellent product that's hard to get
The product is the best and I've been using it since 1989. But why is it so difficult to find? And when I do, it's in tiny bottles? I now find myself searching for alternatives elsewhere and therefore do think much anymore about Kiehl's.

Useless
I wanted to love this. It feels great going on, but after, I cannot apply moisturizer without the moisturizer clumping up. I have tried different moisturizers, including the ultra facial cream and everything clumps up when I use this first.

Because this unique formula is specifically designed to manage surface oil and "dry out" problem areas, it can sometimes create a fine film that interacts with the emulsifiers in creams like our Ultra Facial Cream. To help prevent this, we recommend use sparingly: apply only a small amount to a cotton pad and sweep it specifically over oily-prone areas rather than the entire face, ensure the lotion has absorbed and dried completely before applying your next step, and try gently pressing your moisturizer into the skin rather than rubbing, which can disrupt the astringent layer. Blue herbal…the OG best!!
Great product for clearing up t-zone oiliness! Great for razor burn on my neck as well. Prevents ingrown hairs as well! Have loved this product since my 20’s and I’m now in my 40’s!

Epitome of a GREAT toner
This is my holy grail product. My first-ever Kiehl’s purchase about 20 years ago and I was DEVASTATED when it was discontinued for a few years. It is the epitome of everything you want & need in a toner!
