Such a useful, simple tool

Thin and precise - this thing seems essential now that I've been using it. So many other spatulas are just way too thick to pick up delicate things like eggs, fish, pancakes even. . . And most metal spatulas are so rigid that make it hard to carefully sneak under something, especially if it's close to the edge of the pan. This thing makes it easy. I've started using it fore bigger things, though it's not really suited for stuff that weighs too much - it could bend the other way. But no worries - that's why I have other spatulas.

The Perfect Thin Spatula!

Thin yet sturdy enough to get under any food that sticks to pans. Perfect for eggs and burgers. I’ve been using these spatulas for years…they’re great!

Don’t like the flexibility

The thinness is nice, but the flexibility is actually annoying. I find it harder to slide under things than if it were firm, and it sometimes can act like a little catapult and flip my veggie: right out of the pan, haha!

Broke shortly after I bought it.

I’ve generally had very positive experiences with OXO products and consider myself a loyal customer. Unfortunately, this particular spatula did not meet those expectations. It broke shortly after purchase, snapping cleanly at the junction between the handle and the head. Given the nature of the break, it appears there may have been a manufacturing or assembly issue. The utensil was only used for light tasks such as cooking eggs, so it was not subjected to excessive force or demanding use.
