Casual elegance
I have previously ordered & returned the New Cottage Mugs because unlike the erroneous description, they are sort of oval, not round. But the latte mugs are 14oz and so nice I decided to try to get used to the shape. They actually fit in the cabinet easier. It’s a casual elegance that is so lovely. Highly recommended! Check out the collection.

Nice Latte Mugs
Love these mugs for their clean look, oval shape and size. I like the Villeroy & Boch brand for its durability. I have their twist alea limone dinner set for almost 10 plus years for daily use and there are no chips, scratches or stains.

Great Size!
I love this mug for my morning coffee. They are the perfect size. I had four, but I needed to add a couple more. I was so happy that they are still being produced.

Cancer warning
We bought 12 of the Villeroy and Boch large oval porcelain mugs a few years ago. And until today I would have rated them as good to excellent. After many cops of hot coffee we have only had one break. But today as I was scanning the Bloomindale's site to buy the same mugs for a wedding gift I found the Product 65 Warning: Lead. How long has Bloomingdale's been aware of the lead content in these cups? Until today I trusted Bloomingdales to reveal all of the relevant information about an item. No more. Bloomingdale's should be ashamed of its misrepresentation by omission of VERY important information. How many of us would have bought these Villeroy and Boch expensive mugs if we knew they contained lead?

High Quality & Very Light
I have been a loyal customer of Villeroy& Boch since 1993. Its porcelain from Germany is very light and durable. The company sells some cheap ones from China that are heavier. But I always make sure my porcelain is from Germany and is not import (aka China). Everything I own is from Villeroy and Boch, made in Germany or Luxembourg in the old days. It is a good investment. These mugs are oval if you look from the top. They are easy to hold due to the oval shape. My hands are mall. They are very light and unique. The main reason why I am willing to pay a lot of money for this brand’s porcelain is that Villeroy & Boch has been testing its porcelain for lead and other toxins since 1990. I own 12 sets of the Vieux Luxembourg pattern since 1993. They still look beautiful and new. They are worth every single penny! I am buying another 2 latte mugs with flowers from Villeroy & Boch at Macys online. They look identical to these white mugs but have pretty pink flowers.
