Stitching falling apart after two months

Love the shoes, very comfortable. I use them only for going to work, where I am at my desk most of the day, so very light wear. Only after two months, stitching on top of one of the shoes started separating. Could not return or exchange, as 30-day return window closed per Macy’s policies. So while I love the shoes, I can’t wear just one. Disappointing.

Comfortable loafers

I wear 7.5 in shoes and size 8 in boots and sneakers. I ordered 7.5 in the black loafers and they were too tight with my toe feeling crushed up against the inside front portion of the shoe so I ordered a size 8. They are too loose. I really like the shoes so my options are to find an insert for the shoe that would make the 8 feel more comfortable or get 7.5 again and try stretching the shoe. The inside sole seems to have good support which helps my high arches. I really like the shoes so I’m hoping I can find a solution for whichever size I end up with.
