Amazing Machine

Honestly, I don't know how I lived without this for so long. I'm new to being a vegan and this has been incredibly helpful. Everything I have tried, from sauces to smoothies has turned out silky smooth. It blends things quickly, is super easy to clean and is not as loud as I had expected. I'm very happy with my purchase!!

My Vitamix Explorian 10-Speed Blender is less than three years old, but the blades are already stalling and stopping while blending. This is very disappointing, especially for such an expensive blender. It's not worth the high cost if it doesn't even last three years.

Hi, we are sorry to hear of your experience. The behavior you are experiencing is common and easily fixed. If ingredients are not freely circulating, this is a symptom of air getting trapped between ingredients and the blades, which can affect the blending performance. This is easily resolved by the use of the tamper, which will accelerate the flow of food through the blades. While the machine is running and with the lid firmly in place, insert the tamper through the lid plug opening and begin working it in the four corners of the container. As the food travels around the side of the container, the tamper directs it right into the blades. If there is an air pocket around the blade, the tamper will release the air pocket and create a continuous flow of food through the blades. If you can spend the extra then do it

Still experimenting with it

So far so good. I've used it mostly for blending smoothies. I do need to use the little plunger thing to help push things around as the blades get stuck with the frozen fruit. But it seems powerful enough and does get everything blended up nicely. I've also made humus with it, again, bogged down a little bit but end product was smooth and wonderful.
