Seriously damaged item with careful packaging!!

I am a big fan of Villery and Boch, and never had such a poor experience buying their product elsewhere. It is obvious that whoever packed the item could not miss the defect. Chips and cut marks on the lid was taped on the bowl, half masking the scar. I am so disappointed with Macy's.
