Spoiled ourselves and got a new pattern - Monroe Blue!

Absolutely beautiful set! We ended up getting all the pieces that were available (still waiting for the appetizer plates. . . ). We actually have used a few Pfaltzgraff patterns over the years and are "retiring" (giving to daughter) Cocoa & Cappuccino to make room for these. Nice size and weight to them. The plates, per my kitchen scale, are a little lighter than the old sets (Cocoa: 35. 0 oz. - 993 g. , Cappuccino: 33. 2 oz. - 940 g. , Munro Blue: 30. 3 oz. - 860 g. ), but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, as they are still pretty hefty. It is a striking set and just goes with the wood-based decor of the kitchen. More pieces, please! The 6"x 3" bowls will be missed. . .

Very attractive dishes

I received 1 defective piece which was quickly replaced. Love the purchase. The dishes appear to be of very good quality. Hopefully the glaze is durable.
