Quality blanket but not what I need

This quality heated blanket slowly and gently warms. Since it’s winter in Detroit Michigan I would prefer more warmth and faster than it provides. This mid-weight blanket is generously sized and drapes more like a quilt than a plush blanket. Unfortunately the soft velvet underside slips and slides all over the bed on my sateen sheets. The blanket moves around the bed during the night until one side rests on the floor and the other side barely covers my body. Since the electric wires go from edge to edge in all directions, you can’t tuck it in under the foot of the bed to stabilize its position. Also the controller has no countdown capability for the programmable timer to show the time remaining on the heating cycle. I would not recommend it to a friend.

Not worth the money. Does not heat up enough

Doesn't heat up enough. It's just kinda blah. Also...one side of it feels like the sound of someone scratching nails on a chalkboard. Not a good feeling.
