I am writing to report significant issues with a Zwilling knife set I recently purchased from Macy’s and to request your assistance in resolving both the quality concerns and the apparent product misrepresentation. I purchased the knife set on November 13, 2025, for $354.74, after conducting extensive research on high-quality knives suitable for a gourmet home cook. The set I received, however, does not match either the advertised specifications or the expected quality. Key Issues: 1. Quality Concerns: After the very first wash in the dishwasher, the knives came out with rust stains and deep scratches, which is unacceptable for knives at this price point and from this brand. 2. Product Misrepresentation: o The product delivered is labeled TGO-120-15K, which does not match the knives shown on Macy’s website at the time of purchase. o Macy’s product listing displayed images and model numbers such as 31625-300 (Ice Hardened), 36111-160, 36111-100 (Made in Germany), and 36110-130 (Made in Germany). o None of the knives delivered match these models in appearance, construction, or features (such as being ice-hardened). This raises serious concerns about accuracy and authenticity. Given the discrepancy between what was advertised and what was delivered, combined with the poor performance of the knives, I request a full review of this issue. I would like clarification about the model I received, an explanation for the product mismatch, and instructions on how to replace them with the knives shown on Macy’s product page.
