Glad it's vinyl - but zipper broke right way.

The zipper broke when I put it on my aunt's bed. It came in only the Macy's plastic envelope - which it fine but seemed a little weird i didn't have it's own packaging. Also - color doesn't mater but it's more of a gray - so with that and no packaging of i' own - wondered if it was the right thing. Also doesn't seem returnable with no code for anyone to scan - despite the fact it broke right away. It's better that my aunt have broken cover than none at all- and good it's made of vinyl if it will actually protect the mattress - BUT now that it's not closed up - it may not protect it as well - and also don't want her sliding around from it either.. photos enclosed. If the zipper were stronger - this could be a 100% solution to protecting a mattress from moisture.
