Very Versatile, Simple yet Classic Style

The creamy white color allows these dishes to be used as everyday or dressy dinnerware. As everyday, they create a soft background so the food really stands out. For dressier meals, these dishes can be grouped with a colorful placemat and/or colorful glassware and silverware.

This is a great plate and set from Villeroy and Boch. I appreciate that I can buy an individual when one breaks and they are the same as my original set from approx. 5 years ago. Classic and classy design.

Nice Supplement to the old Cottage design

I bought several different size Manoir plates and bowls to supplement a set of the old Cottage that, unfortunately, is no longer available. The style, design and off-white color are close enough that I can place them right next to the Cottage dishes. I've started using just the Manoir dishes for small get-togethers and like them a lot, in that I can use any color napkins with them. Plus, the food is well presented against the plain background.

Pretty plates!

Pretty plates that feel nice in hand. They are a cream, warm color, not stark white if you are trying to compliment other things you have.

Beautiful Manoir

I bought a single plate to replace one that was broken recently, so now I have 12 again. As with other V&B dishes I have, they are VERY durable -- but my poor plate took quite a hit when a huge stoneware bowl slipped out of my hubby's helpful hands. Manoir are my everyday plates.
