Love this pattern but soup bowls too shallow.

I love this pattern! It is my everyday and lightweight and mixes with my other pattern dishes perfectly. However I am disappointed in the size of the soup bowls. They are a bit smaller and more shallow than others I have owned. My other soup bowls are deep enough that I often use them as serving bowls for only 2 people. Other than that, these dishes are wonderful.

Crack.

I’ve had the Manoir set for about 8 years and it is still in great condition. I recently decided to add to my set so I bought two of this and surprisingly one got a crack right away. My original set has been used daily and only four dishes (out of 32) have been chipped or broken (and this only happened when dropping a dish). I’m just surprised one has a crack.

I just love the Manoir dinnerware set, which I consider a cross between elegant and country, having purchased the dinner and breakfast plates along with the fruit bowl, which I use for cereal and soup until now.
