Sales people

I entered the cosmetic dept- no customers. I was heading towards Clinique. I could see no sales associates. I looked over & made eye contact with a woman who looked away. I was pretty obvious with the intention of trying to find someone to help me, by looking around & around. I approached this woman in the next area (shisedo I think) and asked her if anyone was around to help me in Clinique. She offered to help as she called herself a “flex”. Ok. I showed her what I needed to exchange, (wrong color choice on line). She couldn’t find it anywhere, and went to get help. They finally found it, but both associates were clearly not familiar with any Clinique products. Then it rang up at the wrong price, so that was an issue. This is why I try to purchase on line. This was not a great experience. She was pleasant enough, but wow. Does Macy’s need to do better, or Clinique?
