Way too expensive

It is a nice stand but it is VERY expensive for what it is. Having studied the description, pictures and reviews carefully, I thought it came with the bowls. It doesn't. It therefore went back.

Scruffy packaging, nice product

Bought as a gift and was disappointed to find it had arrived in a very damaged box. Not the quality I would expect for the price. The product itself is nice and as pictured.

poor quality control

I have long admired this item and finally purchased one. It is poorly stained and does not belong on display. I complained and V&B resolved the issue to my satisfaction. It's a shame because if more attention were paid this product could look just like the picture.

Bought this as a set as our "grown up" dishes

My husband and I wanted to register for dinnerware, but couldn't find anything which had clean lines but also didn't feel too flimsy. This was the perfect compromise between his modern aesthetic and my wish for something more rustic/farmhouse-y. We've been using the set everyday for the past few months and have had no issues with chipping. They are more of an off-white/cream than a true white (which we loved) and we especially like the pasta bowl, which we use for salads and everything that have sauces (Indian, Chinese, Italian of course).
