The innovative machine-made cocktail glass Nick & Nora of the functional glass collection RIEDEL Barware ensures an effortless and chic sip, delivering the drink without forcing the tilt of the head perfect. Nick & Nora is named after the characters in the timeless thriller "The Thin Man," remembered for its mystery and martini-loving husband-and-wife detective team. The RIEDEL BARWARE DRINK SPECIFIC GLASSWARE is made in collaboration with spirits specialist Zane Harris, answering the need for cocktail-specific glassware among restaurants and bars with six glasses perfected for thousands of cocktails. The glasses are based off the traditional serves for seven classic cocktails: The Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Daiquiri, Sour, Peasant, Buck and Julep. Working in partnership with Riedel, Harris created each glass giving specific attention to its size, shape, volume and capacity for ice, a concept in its totality never before explored by any glassware company. "Ice has the greatest influence in glassware design as it is in practically every drink, not just the cocktail," notes Harris. Buyer BEWARE

My order arrived today - Full price was paid for the glassware. They arrived in a used and old box that had obviously been opened prior. The stickers for the glasses were not attached and there was even a CLEARANCE sticker on the box indicating the reduced price. Given that most of the stores have closed I am finding it best to buy high end items from retailers not trying to make money on returns.

Nice glasses but thin walled

The glasses were a bit taller than I expected, but they are nice and hold more than they appear to. They are, however, really thin-walled, so be careful! Great for a Gimlet cocktail!

Sweet little glasses

Even though many reviews mentioned their small size, I still was a bit surprised at how small they are. That said, they are nice for something like sherry or a small martini. They do hold 4 ounces (if you fill almost to the top). The glass is quite thin but overall I like the shape and I don't have anything this size so I am keeping them.

Sippin' like Nick & Nora!

As a huge fan of Nick & Nora and The Thin Man movies, I was so excited to buy 4 of these glasses! So fun to sip a Manhattan out of them! They are smaller to honor the 30s/40s cocktail glasses. No regrets buying these!
