I love enamel cookware. It's easy to use, easy to clean and, at least in my experience, it pretty much lasts forever if you take care of it properly. This one is just the size I needed when cooking for one, making a sauce or heating a can of soup. The lid fits snugly and yes, it's a glass lid. I couldn't really tell from the photo and the description did not specify, but I took a chance and ordered it anyway. Glad I did!
