Color different in person

I just received the bamboo salad plates, but the blue line along the inner edge is a WAY brighter blue than it appears online. The line also has a look of being hand painted, but not in a good way. Not sure if I'll keep them, as it takes away from the green.

Love this set

I am an old navy guy and I love to sail. Many years when this pattern first came out I had to have it. This is the only set out there that fit my nautical taste. I bought enough for 8 settings. Over the years the gold rim has worn off and I think it's the dish washer's fault. A few years back I wanted to replace several pieces that were worn out and the pattern and gold rim have faded but the pattern was no longer available. I am so glad it's back. This time none of these are going in the dish washer. I don't mind hand washing these because I have not found anything even close to this. I love old sailing ships.

Gorgeous!

This dinnerware set is gorgeous! I got it for the cottage at the beach, and it goes so well with my theme. The details on the pieces are wonderful. It's very well made and should last me a while.

Not like the originals

This line was discontinued so I was so excited when I saw them available again! Sadly, they are made in Indonesia not USA and heavier than the originals. The finish the colored part was not smooth to the touch. And one of the plates had a few 3 imperfection spots. I"m sooo sad and will be returning these.

Tropics delight

I love this dinnerware set. It is elegant as well as practical. I have 1 dinnerware set in my china hutch. Always get compliments on the quality and esthetics. My hope list is to add to it for a complete service for 8.
