Good Belgian waffles with no flip
Makes good waffles, easy peasy. I loved my Cuisinart's Classic Round waffle maker for consistently good American style waffles, but I do prefer a Belgian waffle. This one is sturdy and heavier than the Classic Round, but much more compact than the flip style Belgian waffle maker. It's very easy to use and I especially appreciate the little beep when the waffles are done (a feature missing from the Classic Round). Also, the waffles release easily. However, I'm not happy that, according to the instructions, 1 whole cup of mix is required for each waffle, compared to 1/2 cup for the Classic Round. And although they seem to cook evenly, the waffles don't brown evenly. Otherwise, I'm enjoying my weekly Belgian waffles.

4 slice Belgian Waffle maker
I like that this waffle maker has an off switch. I use setting 4 for a crispier waffle and it’s excellent. There is no sticking issue with the batter and it is very easy to clean. I would recommend this product.

Disappointing
I am really disappointed with the performance of this waffle maker. I have only used it a handful of times as it is a recent purchase, but it seems my unit is either defective or just a poorly made product. The waffles do not brown properly or cook evenly, also the timer function does not work as it should. If I were not standing there checking my waffles they would burn- and this is not* on the highest setting. I now realize there are hardly any new or recent reviews on this updated model. I had the older version of this product for at least 7 years, used it all the time and had no issues with it. I actually gave it to a family member this year as I wanted to find a waffle maker that was pfas free. Obviously had high hopes for this one but it's been a huge letdown. I wish I would have returned it right away.
