The smell is sensational, a true field of lilacs. My favorite lilac perfume, ever. I really wish it was carried in any store in my state, so that I didn't have to order online. Anyway, the monogram you if you so choose, is off center by a minimum of an 1/8 inch. At least mine is, but considering it is shown as such in the display when you type in your three chosen letters, it's intentional. I did expect better, I did expect it to be centered. This is quite embarrassing and sad in my opinion. Don't pay for it, go somewhere that cares if you want a monogram for gifting. The mistake shouldn't have happened. A two hundred dollar perfume deserves better, and so does the applicant.

Made a mistake and bought this blind. It’s overpowering and smells cheap. It won’t wash off. I detect no lilac, just cheap artificial flowers. I can’t return it since I opened it. Gag worthy purchase.

A Pleasant Scent
I love fresh lilacs and decided to give this Eau de Parfum a try. It's pleasant but not that interesting of a scent; just shy of too sweet and matronly. Not as long lasting as many perfumes but if I layer it with an unscented moisturizer it lasts a little longer. I usually wear Chanel No. 5, Hermes 24 Faubourg, or MCM. Fortunately, this perfume does not give me a headache which many perfumes do and although my husband hasn't commented on this perfume; my cat seems to love it. :-)

My favorite of all!
I've been wearing this perfume for years. It is the closest I have found to capturing the true scent of lilacs, and I have tried many other perfumes featuring lilac. It also has great wear length, and attracts many compliments. Fragrance can embrace nostalgia, as well as put it's stamp on the present. How wonderful that the wafting smell of fresh lilacs is forever linked with some of my most special memories!
