Memorable
Like most Estée Lauder cologne that remains all day. Love this scent as it is a bit edgy not your flowers and sunshine of a child. Think confident aware of who you are and not afraid to be you. For mature audiences only. Not easily forgotten.

Original fragrance ruined.
This perfume doesn't even come close to the original sent. It's a shane what Estee Lauder has done.
Different from the original
I came across this new version of Aliage while browsing Macys website. I wore it back in the early 70’s and remembered it as a somewhat “sharp” fragrance. Definitely not sporty. More of a modern ( for that time) in your face aldehyde note. But, I was feeling nostalgic and in the mood for a scent that would bring back the days of my youth. Now, after ordering it, read the reviews….commenters saying how it’s nothing like the old Aliage and smells terrible. Uh oh. Just received it..and I love it! No, it’s nothing like I remember…I’m not smelling any green or sharp notes….just. A lot of warm, amber-like notes. Very soft. Not sure if it’s right for spring ( when I wanted to wear it), but perfect as an everyday scent for fall or winter. Would not wear this to the gym…..it is not light. Also, it seems to be lasting in my skin.
Still sporty!
I have been wearing this perfume since 1983. I get so many compliments on it.
