The Anne Klein Merlot Coat is absolutely gorgeous — classy, sophisticated, and beautifully tailored for athletic builds. I’m 5'11" with an athletic frame and ordered a size XL. Lovely coat

This is a lovely coat, but I was hoping it would be a bit warmer being a wool coat. My main complaint is with the sleeve length and tightness in the shoulder/armpit area. I had to go a size up just to be able to lift my arms in the jacket without feeling like it will rip at the seams. So the overall fit looks a bit bigger because of that. Otherwise, its a good coat that is worth the SALES price.

Day or Night

I'm 5' 3" and carry my weight in my hips. I ordered the large in black, my normal clothing size is 8-10, it fits a bit loose but if you plan on wearing cold weather clothes sizing up one would give you space to not feel suffocated and ample space to button up. I would say this is true to size and accurate per the sizing chart.

Nice coat but not for the short girls

The coat is nicely made and good looking but as a petite woman the proportions weren’t good for me. On the model it looks mid-thigh length and on me it came down to my knees. Too long for a peacoat like this. If you’re taller I think this coat will look smashing on you! But for anyone short or average height, beware, it’s longer than it seems.
