It doesn't securely fit the pans you suggested it slides side to side.

The Universal Steamer Insert was specifically designed to fit a wide variety of saucepans across many different brands, so depending on the rim style of your pan — whether it is straight-sided, fluted, or varies slightly in diameter — there may be a small amount of shifting during use. Rest assured it will still function perfectly as intended!

The steamer is designed to fit 2-qt., 3-qt., and 4-qt. straight-sided and tulip-shaped pots for the best and most secure fit.
