Nice shoes but not as pictured

Overall quality and comfort of shoes are great (4/5). However rating it 2/5 as the shoes received are not as pictured. The shoes you will receive are more of a shiny leather with the same color throughout (instead of a matte texture, with a slightly darker portion as pictured), in addition to silver lace holes instead of the brass ones. Macys customer support is completely useless here as they don't understand what different from the picture means. But overall still great shoes - just not as expected so keep that in mind.

very nice presentation

these are a gift, so I can't speak to fit or comfort. he'll say they great regardless. but I'm very impressed with the lovely leather smell, softness of the feel. and just the whole presentation of the box and how the boys are wrapped. I bought these on sale but they look like Million bucks.

Looks & feels good but A.V. used cheap components

The leather is very nice. The fit and feel of these shoes are above par. Good looking shoe, also. The eyelets are made very cheaply, reminiscent of the quality on a 1960s child's toy. I wore them 3 times and the eyelet came apart as I pulled on the lace. Oh, yeah--the laces are crap. The first time I laced these up the lace broke and I could not get exact replacements, not even from Anthony Veer.

Unbelievably wonderful boots!

Everything you can expect from a Boot that is priced twice as much. It’s constructed in Norwegian Welt.
