Yeah, eat a box of Candy then go straight to bed

I noticed a negative review on this brand (Astor) that wasn't very favorable. The reviewer mentioned something that alluded to freshness of the ingredients they use. I received a box of the same kind but I couldn't leave a review for because I had already left a review It was a five star review that I left. My experience with a second box of the same variety left me with a bad taste in my mouth of sorts. The candy was 'alright,' but not really delicious, worth the money or a good value: maybe good at one third the price you pay. I am almost dissatisfied but I did get almost a fair price, an excellent price if it weren't for the expired ingredients used in production or something. The expiration on the box was fine. But I think some of the ingredients used might have been past expiration, something just wasn't fresh about the taste. This isn't intended to be a diss to Astor, instead a call to check on the expiration date on all the ingredients used in each product.
