Definitely not a comfortable boot

I really wanted to like these boots, for the waterproof factor and looks.. when I first tried them on, they felt really stiff so I figured they probably needed to be broken in a bit which is pretty uncommon for boots nowadays. After wearing these for a couple weeks and taking them on quite a few dog walks, I can confidently say that these are the most uncomfortable boots I've ever owned. The footbed is so stiff, that my feet hurt after about 15 to 20 minutes of walking in these - which is unheard of for all the boots that I've owned.

Can't Get These Darn Boots On!

I purchased these boots as a Christmas gift for my husband. We had to return them because they are too difficult to put on. He wears a size 12 and has a narrow foot. We are 100% in agreement with the other reviews with similar complaints. The boots do not have any 'give' and are not likely to stretch out. They fit perfectly once put on so getting a larger size isn't really a good option. It's too bad since they really do look good; but wouldn't get worn.

These winter are very nice BUT as a number of other people have indicated the metallace hooks on the upper section of the boots break...the metal is not durable and break with out any stress except for the normal lacing light tension. NOT good. Boots are still in excellent condition EXCEPT for this. The frequent report of this issue says something.... listen to it BOGS. ...and yes it have had them for a couple of years but the hooks are poor quality.

First Impressions

Very comfortable soles and stylish. Problem is that you'll pull a muscle squeezing you foot in and out of them. The built-in sock is way too tight.

Great all around boots

Boots fit true to size. Really warm and super comfortable. I wore them to walk around a city for 6 hours without even breaking them in and they felt great and had awesome support.

Hard to put on

I bought these last year towards end of season so I did not get to wear them until this year. The boots are EXTREMELY hard to get my foot into the boots. I feel like I am going to rip off the pull strap on the back. The boots are comfortable once I win the battle of getting them on. They do keep my feet warm and dry in the snow. If I had to do over I would not have purchased and now I am looking for a pair of boots easier to get on.
