low power
I bought this very excited, as I love the Breville brand and have the coffee machine and also the toaster oven (both I love). This blender however is not powerful enough, it struggles to even blend up frozen bananas, had to cut them up into very small pieces in order for it to blend a smoothie. I returned this blender, disappointed.

I got this blender to replace the same one I got 14 years ago! I got the same for that reason Long lasting and easy to used

Great blender, on-line color not quite accurate
As recommended by America's Test Kitchen, this blender works great. This is our second blender by Breville. The first unit developed a bad bearing after many years of home use, way past any warranty time period. However, every place that advertises the Red Velvet version on-line doesn't show the color very accurately. I'm a professional photographer, trained at Brooks Institute of Photography many years ago and have my computer monitors color calibrated for my professional work. The color of the actual unit is a bit more on the burgundy side of things. This often caused by not having the original color photograph color calibrated. Wife was sad as her favorite color is RED, RED, RED. Again, blender works great. Macy's delivered using On-Trak shipping, which most times I have nothing good to say about them, however this time they delivered a day early, wonders of wonders.

Great blender
Love this blender. Make simple shakes. I especially like the cleaning feature. Had this blender before but the plastic container eventually discolored. The company replaced it - excellent customer service!

Ok
Very very difficult for a shorter person to get the top off- even taking blender off base doesn’t help much- it splatters everywhere. This makes a good smoothie and seems to have enough power for green smoothies. Although the quality seems very good I think it is overpriced for the inconveniences.
